Terms of Use.
Last updated August 2, 2026.
By using PensacolaCity.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Independence
PensacolaCity.com is a private, independent local guide. We are not the City of Pensacola, Escambia County, Santa Rosa Island Authority, any tourism board, chamber of commerce, or official government site. Business names and place names appear as public identifiers; their owners keep their trademarks.
The site
Content is for general information. We aim to keep listings and pages useful, but we do not guarantee that every detail is complete, current, or error-free.
Directory listings
Business listings are compiled from publicly available business information and from user submissions. Inclusion is not an endorsement. Hours, prices, services, and contact details can change without notice — confirm with the business before you rely on them. Owners may request corrections or removal through our contact form.
Events and trip plans
The events calendar summarizes publicly available schedule facts (such as title, date, time, and venue) from official calendar feeds, recurring community staples, and user submissions, and may link out for more information. We do not claim ownership of third-party event brands or marketing materials. Details change — verify tickets, times, and venues with the organizer. Trip planner packs are suggestions built from directory listings, not booked itineraries.
Beach conditions
Beach flag advisories and related conditions on this site are unofficial and derived from third-party weather and tide data (including Open-Meteo and NOAA). They are not a substitute for lifeguard flags or official safety instructions. Always follow the flag and guidance on the beach.
Maps
Map tiles and base map data are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors and related map libraries. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL). Map pins and neighborhood markers on this site are approximate and for orientation only.
Sponsorships and ads
Paid placements appear in the Featured Partners section (homepage) and as a featured partner on category pages. They are fixed slots — not purchased rankings in the regular directory list. Sponsorship checkout is processed by Stripe. You can cancel a monthly subscription from your Stripe receipt (Manage billing) or by contacting us. Details on what we collect for sponsorships are in our Privacy Policy.
User submissions
If you submit a listing, event, badge request, or message, you confirm the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to send it. You grant us a non-exclusive license to publish and edit the submission on this site. We may decline or remove submissions.
Intellectual property
Site design, original writing, guides, and branding are owned by PensacolaCity.com or its licensors. Hero and carousel photographs currently used on the site are licensed under the Unsplash License (free commercial use). Source records for those images are kept with the project. You may link to our pages. Please do not wholesale copy or commercially reuse our original guides and design without permission.
Corrections and takedown
If you believe a listing, event, photo, or other material on this site is inaccurate or should be removed (including a copyright concern), contact us through the contact form. Include the page URL and enough detail for us to find the item. We review good-faith requests and will correct or remove material when appropriate.
External links
Links to other websites (organizers, city agencies, businesses, safety pages) are for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or policies.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for decisions you make based on listings, guides, maps, events, ads, or beach-condition information, or for third-party sites linked from here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts in Escambia County, Florida are the preferred venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
