Pace
Pace is a fast-growing Santa Rosa County community along Highway 90, north of Gulf Breeze and west of Milton. It's largely residential and newer than most of the area — subdivisions, schools, and the services that follow families.
Who ends up here
People who want newer construction and Santa Rosa County schools, and who don't need to be downtown every day. Growth has been steady enough that the retail along Highway 90 has caught up with the rooftops, so you're no longer driving to Pensacola for ordinary errands.
The commute
Roughly half an hour into Pensacola depending on where you start and how Highway 90 is behaving. It's the standard trade for the space and the schools, and it's worth driving at rush hour before deciding.
